Our Story
Fierro Forest began as something much more than a business, it started as father-daughter time in Texas. For the past five years, my dad kept bees as a hobby, and some of my favorite memories are standing beside him in the warm air, listening to the steady buzzing of the hives and learning the quiet rhythm of beekeeping together.
When I moved to Portland, Oregon, I found myself deeply missing that bonding time, and the bees of course. What began as a few nucs in my front yard quickly became a way to feel connected to home again. After joining the Portland Urban Beekeepers Club, I found the sweetest community of passionate, generous beekeepers who welcomed me with open arms and shared knowledge. As my hives grew and I began harvesting enough honey to share, Fierro Forest was born; a small, local honey brand rooted in family, community, and care. My hope is that each jar brings a little sweetness to your life, supports local pollinators, and maybe even offers those natural anti-allergen benefits — especially if you have a sweet tooth like me.
